In 1966 the Pittsburgh Pirates' Roberto Clemente won the MVP Award, and in 1967 he had a career-high batting average of .357 and hit 23 home runs. This rare, signed Roberto Clemente bat from 1965-1967 has several depressions on the barrel, while the left barrel has been slightly scored. Clemente's number, a faded "21" in black marker, is visible on the knob with the model, number "U1" stamped on the knob as well. The original condition of the bat was game ready, not game used. The barrel abrasions and scoring are not player related. A Clemente signature is visible on the front barrel in fading blue ballpoint pen, and is graded a 3. The bat measures 36" long and weighs 35.3 oz. PSA/DNA hologram on bat and LOA for the bat. JSA LOA for the signature.
