The Sarasota Reds played their final game on September 6, 2009, beating the Charlotte Stone Crabs 4-0. Before 2005, the Reds were called the Sarasota Red Sox, affiliated with the Boston Red Sox, and had Kevin Youkilis play for them in 2002. This past October, the Reds were sold to the Pittsburgh Pirates, and will play as the Bradenton Marauders, also in Florida. This collection features eight grey road jerseys, whose numbers are: 3, 7, 21, 33, 35, 50 and 53. The eighth jersey has "BB" as a patch on the front and back. All eight of these road jerseys show nice game use. The other half are eight home pinstripe jerseys, numbered: 7, 11, 12, 31, 38, 40 and 53. The eighth jersey in this group also has "BB" as a patch on the front and back of the jersey. Jerseys are made by Wilson, and all jerseys with numbers have the Wilson "W" above the players' numbers on the back.
