When the Marlins beat the Yankees in the 2003 World Series, Josh Beckett became a star and was awarded MVP. This colossal ring was given to Bryan Greenberg, the manager for the visiting clubhouse . Intergold, who made the ring, was the official manufacturer of the 2003 Florida Marlins World Series Championship rings. The wooden mahogany and glass box reads: "Florida Marlins, 2003 World Series Champions, Bryan Greenberg." The ring is comprised of 14K white gold and 18K yellow gold. A diamond and ruby cluster surrounds the face of the ring which reads, "World Champions" and "Marlins." One side says, "Greenberg 2003 91 71 World Champions Staff" and the other side of the ring reads, "4F 2Y, World Series, 100th Anniversary, 2003, F 4-3 Cubs, F 3-1 SF." Inside is stamped with "Intergold 14K" and is engraved with, "Florida Marlins, Visiting Clubhouse Manager, 041." The eye in the marlin is a .06 carat round brilliant cut teal diamond. Bead set in the yellow gold are 98 1.0 mm to 1.8 mm round brilliant cut diamonds with a weight a total of 1.44 carats. Bead set in white gold are 130 1.0 mm to 2.7 mm round brilliant cut diamonds with an estimated total weight of 2.7 carats. Seven 2.0 mm and five 1.85 mm round faceted, transparent, dark red-purple rubies also adorn this gorgeous ring. Gems weigh a total of approximately 4.75 carats, and the ring weighs a total of 106 grams. The estimated replacement value is $32,500.
