This is an official program from the 1938 World Series between the New York Yankees and the Chicago Cubs. This unscored program has a small chip on the bottom edge of the front cover, along with some fading and staining on the cover. Inside are signatures of 24 Yankees; 15 of the signatures have been deemed clubhouse. Among the others, Lou Gehrig grades a strong 8, Joe Gordon grades 6/7, Lefty Gomez grades 6/7, and the newest Yankee Hall of Famer Joe Gordon is also included. Despite the clubhouse signatures, this is a rare item as this was Gehrig's final World Series; he was diagnosed with ALS the following season. All pages intact and secure; book is clean inside except for the signatures. Comes with LOA.
