This is a rare Negro League baseball player's contract dated April 9, 1947 between player Herbert Simpson and the New Orleans Creoles Baseball Club. The double-sided document provides that Simpson receive a salary of $300 per month from May 3 through September 1, 1947. The contract is unsigned. A must for the true baseball history buff.
