Difficult-to-find “V-style” Canucks jersey worn by Garth Butcher circa the 1982-83 season. This Home (gold) jersey has Mask Ultrafil tagging in the collar, still held in place on just one side. Front neckline has been torn and repaired. Lower front has numerous material snags and small marks in addition to two sizable team repairs. Each sleeve has the Canucks logo and Butcher’s number 5 above. Three repairs on the right sleeve with numerous small stick marks throughout and paint transfers on the shoulder. One un-repaired hole on the back left sleeve along with more small stick marks throughout. Left shoulder has a huge yellow board burn that shredded through the number 5. Back has more material snagging and small marks. The number 5 on the back has a large repair on the lower half. Butcher’s name has been removed from the back with evidence of a nameplate have resided above the number 5. Fight strap inside the back. Solid pilling inside the back hem where the strap hangs and inside both sleeves.
