Hall of Fame pitcher Rube Marquard enjoyed much of his career success with the New York Giants. This is a six-piece silver-plated presentational cocktail set consisting of a brandy snifter-shaped pitcher with a metal stirrer and four cups. The pitcher is 7" high and approximately 5" wide. It features a pedestal base, pouring spout, and open top. On the side opposite the spout is a raised Mets logo with three small stones in the city skyline, and the inscription: "1965 Mets Giants Old Timers 'Rube' Marquard." The cups are 3 1/2" high and approximately 3 1/2 " wide. There is tarnishing on the pieces as would be expected considering their age; the set is in otherwise very good condition.
