Extremely unusual pieces are both signed by Fidel. First, a marvelous 40x30" banner in red & black showing the classic image of Che and slogan that translates to be like him. Presented to him by Castro personally, it is signed "Fidel Castro July 16 1989" in a gorgeous dark signature right on the cloth. The signature shows up perfectly. Second, a black Che-style military beret that is signed on the inside by Fidel, "For the country always…Cuba...November 1988." Signed on a clear tape used to identify soldiers' bodies when they are killed (like dog tags). The contrast is bad because it is red on black but can be read perfectly. Tagged inside "R.P.A." (Revolution Patriotic Armada). Plus, group of six metal military insignias from his uniform. This is from a highly decorated Cuban freedom fighter was sent by Castro to fight in Angola.
