Extremely rare photograph of this World Chess Champion. Born in Havana, Cuba. At the age of four he learned chess by watching his father's games, and within nine years had defeated the Cuban champion, Corzo. He has signed it in mint blue ink "J.R. Capablanca Enero 18/1941." This was signed but one year before his death. Overall 8x10" and EX-MT.
