Original handwritten music score for The Big Bopper's (J.P. Richardson) last hit, "Big Bopper's Wedding." This was his current hit when the plane crashed and killed him, along with Buddy Holly and Ritchie Valens. This piece of music was found in Richardson's briefcase at the crash site; he was planning on giving the score to his musicians. Includes letter from Richardson's son verifying that this piece was one of a few that were found in his father's briefcase on that tragic day. J. P. Richardson also wrote the famous "Chantilly Lace."
