Many athletes become legendary, but very few truly redefine the sport they play. Michael Jordan didn't just play basketball -- he was basketball. Players today are all cut from the mold that Michael built. Even to this day, it can easily be argued that no one to come along since has been as talented, idolized, or nearly as successful as the Bulls' all-time superstar. This piece, an artistic black-and-white rendering of Jordan going for one of his infamous slam-dunks, is a 20 x 39" painting that has been framed to 32 x 52" and is one of the nicest pieces of sports art to have ever passed through our doors. By world-renowned sports artist Steve Holland, this limited edition print is numbered 5/197, amongst the first of a very limited quantity to have been produced. Signed in pencil by both the artist and Michael Jordan himself, the painting shows breathtaking detail and great use of lighting and shadow. Simply mindblowing.
