A sparkling clear 1/2 carat CZ stone sits in the middle of this "Indianapolis 500 Winning Team" ring. Indy 500 rings go to only a select few once a year. The 1998, 82nd Indianapolis 500 was the first one to be fully sanctioned by the Indy Racing League. Eddie Cheever, Jr., highlighted his racing career with the win. This winning ring went to Cheever, Jr.'s team members. One was Jim Garley, who this ring was presented to. Official I.M.S. Corp. (Indianapolis Motor Speedway Corp.) ring. Inside is engraved with, "I.M.S. Corp. 1998, Jim Garley," and it stamped with "HJ 10K." Made by Herf Jones Company, a famous name in championship rings. One side reads, "GARLEY" and shows the team members servicing an Indy car. The other side says, "Indianapolis Motor Speedway" and has a view of the Indy 500 track. 10K, size 10 3/4.
