The sport of baseball has nearly as much history in Japan as it does in its home of the United States. It was introduced to the eastern nation in 1872, and almost immediately became a national phenomenon. This pre-World War Two official AL ball is from the league's 1934 Tour of Japan, and is signed by nineteen (19) baseball legends, including William Harridge, Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Jimmie Foxx, Moe Berg, and Bing Miller. The signatures, in black pen, rate between 3-8 / 10. The ball is in excellent condition, showing few signs of use, along with some darkening / fading of the husk. A marvelous showpiece for fans of American and Japanese baseball alike. LOA included.
