This framed black and white photo gives real meaning to the word panorama. It measures 9 x 48" and is still held in its original wooden frame. Photo shows a 1916 football game at Yale Bowl between long-time university rivals, the Harvard Crimson and Yale Bulldogs. "The Game", as all football games between Harvard and Yale are called, has been played by the teams together since 1875, when American football was just beginning to evolve from rugby. Bottom right of the photo is written in white script, "Candee. New Haven. Conn." Bottom middle of photo also in white says, "Yale 6 Harvard 3." To this day, Yale leads 65-52-8.
