Joe Louis fought Clarence “Red” Burman on January 31, 1941 at Madison Square Garden in New York. Louis knocked Burman out in the 5th round in defense of his World Heavyweight Title. Offered here is a very rare original, on site poster to this event. The poster pictures both fighters. It is a three sheet (40” x 80”) paper poster which has been professionally linen backed. The poster exhibits some of the original folds. It is clean and in overall excellent condition. On site posters of this great champion are extremely rare.
