Notes: This complete vintage flannel uniform has Bears sewn across the chest and is a heather gray color with navy pin stripes and red stitching detail. The tag in the neckline reads Danenhower’s Sporting Goods / 2731 Pleasant St., Camden, N.J. There is no tagging in the pants. The Newark Bears were a New York Yankees farm club.

Condition: The jersey is in VG/EX condition with some minor stains evident on both the front and back of the jersey. The pants show great game use with grass and dirt stains and a few tears in the groin and knee areas that have been repaired. There is also some evidence of staining due to age rather than game time action.
