Notes: This bowl is just like the one that Pete received from Marge Schott on the field after he hit number 4,192 to break Ty Cobb’s record. This is the bowl that was made for the day before (Sept. 10, 1985) just in case. It has the wrong date on it so it was not presented to him-another was made with the Sept. 11th date. Engraved “Pete Rose September 10, 1985 / 4192 Hits / 42 Red Roses / In Commemoration.” 14’’ in diameter. Gorham silver.

Condition: Some minor spotting on the interior of the bowl. No major dings or bends. Fine overall condition.
