Notes: There are a few things that we are certain of with this bat. 1) It is the model that Pete used in 1985-Black Mizuno PR4192 with “A” stamped on the knob. The length and weight of the bat are consistent with those that Pete used in 1985-33.75 inches and 32 ounces. 2) The bat is prepared the way that Pete prepared his bats-a 6 inch wrapping of tape on the handle with pine tar applied. The barrel is also rubbed as Pete often did. 3) Based on the characteristics of this bat it is one that Pete Rose used. 4) The bat is corked (cork showing at the end of the barrel) and has been corked for a very long time. Based on the cracking pattern of the barrel, it was used while it was corked. These are the facts, you be the judge. Did Pete Rose use this corked bat in a professional baseball game? Pete Rose has also signed this bat.

Condition: Bat shows heavy use with lots of ball marks, compressed wood, and a small sliver off of the back of the barrel.
