Notes: On October 26, 1970 Muhammad Ali and Jerry Quarry fought for the first time at the City Auditorium in Atlanta, Georgia. Ali had been forced into a three year hiatus from the ring in 1967 for not entering the armed forces and this was his first fight back. Quarry seemed a tough test after such a long layoff, but Ali handled him with ease and stopped him on cuts in the third round. Presented here is a scarce on-site poster to the event which has been boldly signed in blue sharpie by both Muhammad Ali and “Irish” Jerry Quarry. The poster measures 24 x 36”.

Condition: This poster is paper in Excellent condition with bold color and only minor soiling from handling and edge wear.
