This Lawn Tennis Quadrille is one the two earliest examples of illustrated American sheet music about the sport of tennis and is dated 1881. It was printed in New York by William A. Pond & Co. The quadrille has been removed from a binding and consists of a complete set of six leaves. The condition is EX with no tears and very minimal wrinkling. Some minor age discoloration but hardly noticeable; beautifully illustrated, it also includes a set of dance instructions from the “Society of the Professors of Dancing, N.Y.”
