The Boston Yanks were an NFL team that played their games in Fenway Park. The franchise was based in Boston from 1944 to 1948. They were owned by Ted Collins who also managed singer Kate Smith. The Boston Yanks ultimately became the NY Yanks playing home games in Yankee Stadium. This 1945 team photo shot by Lyons in Fenway Park measures 15" x 23" framed. It is in fine condition with only a fairly large vertical crease visible on the right side and some smaller surface creases and marks not detracting from a nice overall image.
