Lot Description  

A boy happily inscribed on the top of one of these notebook pages, "1954 and 1955 Got The Whole NBA". Here are seven sheets filled with (71) signatures from NBA teams circa 1955. The Boston Celtics: Red Auerbach, Bob Cousey, Ed Macauley, Togo Palazzi, Don Barksdale, Bill Sharman, Jack Nichols, Dwight Morrison and more. St. Louis Hawks: Red Holtzman, Bob Pettit, Charles Share, Jack Coleman, Al Ferrari and more. Rochester Royals: Bobby Wanzer, Al Spoelstra, Ed Fleming, Connie Simmons, Jim Davis, Don Mieneke and more. Minneapolis Lakers (2 sheets) : Clyde Lovellette (2), Slater Martin (2), Ed Kalafat (2), Dick Garmaker, Chuck Mencel, Whitey Skoog, Vern Mikkelsen, and more.
