The Pigskin Review programs for the entire 1945 Redskins football season is compiled in this remarkable bound volume. Gems here include programs from the November 11th home game against the Chicago Cardinals, the November 18th home stand against the Boston Yanks, and the December 2nd meeting with the Pittsburgh Steelers, each signed by the identical contingent of approximately forty members of the 'skins team. Most impressive are 10/10 signatures from Hall of Famers Turk Edwards, in a coaching role since a career-ending 1940 injury, and the superstar quarterback Sammy Baugh. A few of the signatures are faintly skimmed by the trimming necessary in the binding process, but none of the listed names are affected. There is also a loose page containing the roster of the 1945 Cleveland Rams. Bound in this volume as well is the1945 NFL Championship Game program. Overall, the autographs and the bound volume itself remain in surprisingly fine condition, with no other notable signs of age or wear.
