Collection of Laurel Cards (6) issued at the World's Fair in New York in 1939. Cards are 4 1/4" x 3". They are in EX-MT to NRMT condition. This particular set was for the School of Baseball. Each is issued to a class participant and signed by the Star instructor of the day. One card is signed by Joe Marty, outfielder for the Pacific Coast League San Francisco Seals and teammate of Joe DiMaggio. Others are signed by Chicago Cubs third baseman Stanley Hack and two time All-Star catcher Gus Mancuso of the NY Giants and Gabby Hartnett.
