Super collection if Jim Hegan baseball wire photos (12). Hegan was catcher for the Cleveland Indians from 1941-1957 including two World Series appearances in 1948 and 1954. Photos range from 8" x 8 1/2" to 8 1/2" x 11". Conditions range from EX-NRMT. One depicts Hegan congratulating Indian great Bob Feller immediately after he pitched the third no-hitter of his career versus Detroit in 1951. Another shows him after being "knocked out" after a foul tip by Boston's Dom DiMaggio in 1947. There are also some neat father son shots of Jim with his future major league All-Star son Mike, including one when they are both in uniform as player and coach for the NY Yankees in 1962.
