Joe Crosson became a national hero in the 1920's and 1930's for flying dangerous rescue missions in the frozen northern areas of Alaska and Siberia. This photo collection ranges in size from 3" x 7" to 8" x 11". Conditions vary from GD-NRMT. Crosson was known as the "Mercy Flyer" and the photos span his flying career.
