Ornate presentation plaque presented to the New York Yankees by the greater New York Councils of the Boy Scouts of America in 1951. The award recognizes their "service to youth" through the Yankee Junior Program. This piece came from the great collection of Barry Halper. The plaque consists of a gold-toned plaque mounted on a 9x10" wood base. The metal plaque is missing all but one of the screws that holds it onto the wood base, but is in fine condition.
