World Series Championship Model pinball machine from the 1930s made by Rock-Ola. A great example of the genre before flippers were invented. Boasts an attractive art deco casing and its original, plush playing field. The player functions by pulling the spring-loaded plunger and sending a steel ball on its way up an inclined planar surface, through an obstacle course of dozens of embedded pins, before falling into holes marked "out", "strike", "hit", "error", etc. Measuring 16 x 34 and 10" it is a classic American game from those Saturday nights at the penny arcade. Manufactured by Rock-Ola, it needs to have its original legs (supplied) reinstalled and the glass top replaced. Also minor wear to the paint throughout the outer shell. Overall VG-EX. Please note due to the size/weight of this lot, shipping will be substantial. It is also available for pick-up at our Cape Cod office.
