Great collection of Charlie Keller photos (25) including both action shots playing for the Yankees as well as some personal family photos. Sizes range from 3" x 7" to 8" x 12" and are in VG-NRMT condition. Keller, known as "King Kong", played outfield for the Yankees from 1939 through 1952, except for a 2-year stint with Detroit in 1950 and 1951. One of the photos shows Keller taking a big cut at the ball during the 1941 World Series against the Dodgers. Another shows him triumphantly returning to his alma mater Maryland in College Park for Charlie Keller Day in 1939 while being mobbed by students seeking autographs. One of the marquee photos is of Keller scoring after hitting a homer during the 1946 All-Star game. Bobby Doerr is there at the plate to greet him, as is Ted Williams who scored ahead of Keller.
