We have done our very best to research this cap, but records from the era are just too spotty. Here's what we are sure of--it's a professional model cap, worn during the Teens, and it came out of the Kansas City area. We believe it is very possibly a Negro League cap, but it may be International League or something else entirely. The cardboard in the visor has turned to pulp over the decades, but the cap is otherwise remarkably clean and solid. We could be losing a real gem here, but we'll leave it to the winning bidder to solve the mystery of history.
