Gary Veneruzzo's goal scoring prowess attracted the attention of
General Manager's in the new upstart World Hockey Association.
Veneruzzo joined the Los Angeles Sharks and led the club in scoring
during their inaugural season. After a second year in California,
Veneruzzo began to bounce around the WHA for the next few years
before leaving the league in 1977. In his second-to-last season in
the WHA, Veneruzzo donned this attractive Cincinnati Stingers jersey.
This all-original yellow durene jersey produced by Rawlings with
their size 48 tagging inside, shows solid use. One team repair fixes
a hole to the left of the logo. Two additional repair jobs seal up
the top white hem stripe. Stick marks and light sweat stains litter
the front. Light stick marks on both sleeves with pilling inside at
the elbows and cuffs. Small loop style fight strap. One board burn on
the back right hem along with light stick marks.
