Kevin Stevens was one of the most prolific wingers in NHL history
during the early 1990’s. Topping the 50-goal mark and winning two
Stanley Cups in Pittsburgh had him on the fast track to superstardom.
A horrific on-ice collision in the 1993 Stanley Cup Playoffs left him
a different player thereafter. The strike-shortened 1994-95 season
marked Stevens’ final year in Pittsburgh while he wore this home,
white CCM jersey. CCM and size 54 tags in the collar. Number “25”
penned onto CCM tag in black marker. Alternate captain’s ‘A’ proudly
displayed on the left chest and the fight strap has been cut-out
which was appropriate for Stevens’ jerseys after the 1993 playoff
incident. Red paint transfer to the right of the front neckline with
light stick marks. Light marks on the crest. More stick marks across
the front yellow hem stripe. Scrapes and board burns through the left
sleeve numbers. Purple paint transfer below the back #5. Interior
pilling in the armpit areas and sleeves.
