Amazingly well preserved 8x10 broadside advertising the "World's Base Ball Tournament" held in Detroit, Michigan beginning on August 13th, 1867. The ad piece lists the schedule of prizes including special awards (for the most home runs, best batter, best pitcher, etc.) that resemble the home-run derby fanfare of today's MLB all-star game. Broadside had been mounted on a piece of heavy canvas for preservation and is in VG+ condition.
