You only need one hand to count the number of authentic Johnny Bench game-used mitts out there. This is an extremely rare glove and what makes it better is that it’s from the biggest reddest period of Cincinnati baseball. Bench wore this glove in 1975, a World Championship year for the Big Red Machine. Glove is vintage signed and dated inside by Bench, "Johnny Bench 8/15/75." Signature is 6/10 in blue ball point pen. Rawling pro stock Wing Tip mitt has "E5 Fatty Bench" written in vintage black marker on the outside of the thumb. "Bench" also written in vintage black marker on the outside of the pinky finger. Mitt was used by someone else after Bench as is evidenced by "35" written over "Bench" on the pinky finger. Bench's "5" is also written on the outside at the top of the web. Great game use with some slight tearing of the leather where the palm meets the web. LOA from Denny Esken.
