When Heavyweight Champion George Foreman fought Muhammad Ali in Zaire in 1974 the famous promoter for the fight issued a controversial poster for the fight entitled, “From Slaveship To Championship.” This poster, offered here, depicts Africans in slave chains and was considered so controversial that it was pulled shortly after being issued. Very few copies of this rare poster exist. 25” x 38” in exceptional condition with no creasing, rips or tears. Only very slight discoloration from age.
