On February 25, 1964 in Miami Beach, Florida, World Heavyweight Champion Sonny Liston defended his title against undefeated upstart challenger Cassius Clay. Clay was a decided underdog going into the fight, but his youth and speed prevailed leading to a 7th round stoppage of Liston in the fight which “shook the world.” Presented here is the official program from this event. The program pictures both fighters on the cover and consists of 12 pages with biographies of both.
