An exquisite “Stan the Man” Murial home jersey from 1954, worn by the legend in the middle of his blazing twenty-two year career with the St. Louis Cardinals. On the front are two perfectly embroidered cardinals perched atop a bat. Under them, in crisp crimson lettering, it reads “Cardinals”. Musial’s signature in stark blue sharpie is an amazing 10/10. The jersey shows nice game-use with just a little grime around the collar and a couple minor holes in the tail that are likely due to constant tucking and un-tucking during play. Musial’s number “6” is double-layered felt (red on blue) and still looks great. “S Musial” is chain stitched on the bottom of the front tail. Rawlings size 44 tagging in the collar. Flag tag reading “Set 1 1954” is inside the front tail with washing instructions pleading for the flannel jersey to be dried SLOWLY. The all-original jersey gives a great sense of history and honor to the Hall of Famer.
