Steve "Lefty" Carlton's career spanned nearly two and a half decades in which he graced six distinct teams including the St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago White Sox, Minnesota Twins, San Francisco Giants, Cleveland Indians and Philadelphia Phillies. From his 1982 season with the Phillies comes this autographed glove and spikes set that he wore and used in-game the same year he would be awarded Cy Young Award for the fourth and last time in his career. Originally obtained directly from Carlton, the Rawlings model glove has "36", Carlton's number, written twice in faded marker and is signed by Carlton on the pinky, though is noticeably hard to read due to fading. The inside is signed by Carlton in blue felt with "Cy Young #4" next to it. The Nike spikes are signed by Carlton in blue marker and have his number signed in faded marker on the heel. Noticeable game wear but in EX condition.
