Present at the beginning of Dave Winfield’s 3,000 plus career hits, this 1973 game-used rookie bat is an attractive mess of heavy pine tar, appropriately staining the Louisville Slugger’s light complexion. 36 inches long and weighing 35 ounces, it is a beautiful wood memorial to the Hall of Famer’s first year with the Padres, showing nice use and being only one of six ordered in ’73. Faded red “31” on top of barrel, tightly taped handle, and “C235” engraved on knob. Includes LOA.
