As a rising star in the Quebec Junior League with the Quebec Remparts, Guy Lafleur continued to shine and the awards flowed. The Palestre Nationale Gold Medal Club on numerous occasions gathered to honor Guy for his on ice heroics. Each trophy in this collection was presented during the 1970 and 1971 seasons. Rising a full fourteen inches from the bottom of the base, this golden figure reaches a single laurel towards the heavens. A medallion mounted into the solid wood base reads "Palestre Nationale, Club Medaille d'Or." Three of the trophies feature inscribed plaques naming Guy Lafleur as the recipient.
