On October 23rd, 1971, the rookie Guy Lafleur found the twine at the back of the net at the Los Angeles Forum for his first goal in the National Hockey League. To say it would be the first of many would be an understatement. This historical moment has been eternally preserved on a silver plaque reading, in French, "Souvenir Puck, National Hockey League, 1st Goal of Guy Lafleur at 18:52, 2nd Period, October 23, 1971, Canadiens vs. Kings." Mounted above is the Los Angeles Kings Converse game puck, plucked from the net after the goal. In excellent condition. Letter of Authenticity signed by Guy Lafleur.
