The Knoxville Cherokees were formed in 1988 alongside the East Coast Hockey
League. Beginning in 1988-89, the Cherokees provided Knoxville with great thrills
and playoff disappointment through the 1996-97 season. Highlighted by two
regular season championships in 1990-91 and 1993-94, the Cherokees will long
be remembered in Tennessee hockey lore. This CCM Ultrafil jersey displays
the #2 on both sleeves and the back. Overall, the jersey displays very good
to heavy wear with small holes in both sleeves and frayed stitching mostly
located on the sleeves. Maska and size 52 tagging in the neck mark this
classic ECHL jersey.
