Lot Description  

The man who joined Lefty Grove to dominate championship pitching from 1929-31. First is an absolutely smashing definitive image of George getting ready for the 1929 World Series (6x8”, tiny tear o/w EX-MT). Second is a triptych of three pitchers for the 1930 World Series with Earnshaw joined by Rube Walberg and Howard Ehmke (8x10”, corner crease o/w EX-MT). Both International News photos with original paper captions. EX-MT. 7x9”.
