The "Stinger" Lee Stange saved a staff-high 12 games during the 1968 season. On the front of this 1968 game worn white flannel Red Sox home jersey is stitched "Red Sox" in red on navy blue felt, on the back is stitched the player number "20," also in red on navy blue felt. There is no piping on front of jersey so jersey was probably ordered in late 68 for spring training 1969. On the front left tail is the "McAuliffe" manufacturer's tag with the year "68" swatch and the size "42" in blue. Jersey appears to be all-original and shows nice overall use.
