Another one from the great collection of the 1920's series of positional trophies. Figural first baseman in metal stands atop a silver plated platform, stretching towards a throw from one of his infielders, his right leg straining to maintain contact with first base. Engraved is "Fire Insurance Base Ball League Championship" on the side of the plated platform and "Won By Edward Brown and Sons 1929" on the Spalding ball that is below it and on the side of the trophy, in between "Spalding" and "Trophy". Great patina and nice condition. Painted wood base. EX+. Dieges and Clust tag on the back of the base.
