Clyde Leroy "Sukey" Sukeforth was a catcher for the Brooklyn Dodgers but is more famous for scouting and signing Jackie Robinson for the Dodgers and Roberto Clemente for the Pirates. Heavily lined jacket does not have "Dodgers" on the front. "Sukeforth" is chain stitched on a felt swatch on the interior of the waistband near the zipper. Tagging could date it to the early 1940's.
