Outstanding gray "road" jersey was worn by Torre a few short months before his breakout season of '63. The "Braves" and tomahawk adornments on the garment's front are completely original though the "15" on front and back are both restored. The change was first done by the franchise but replaced again at a later date by a collector. Around the same time, the team logo patch on the left sleeve was removed and replaced with another original. All of the alterations were completed with the utmost care and concern for maintaining its initial appearance. Inside the collar is a white felt plate, chain-stitched with "J. Torre-Set 1-1962" and on the tail is a "Wilson [size] 44" tag. The accompanying cap is also manufactured by Wilson with their tag and [size] 7 3/8 stamp on the inner band. Worn by a Braves coach in 1962, with his number "31" written in black marker under the visor.
