This is the first offering from Bowman into the card market and the set which many consider to be the "first" post war baseball card set. Overall, this near set is in collector's grade however many of the star and key cards are in the best condition. Included are # 4 Mize EX, 5 Feller VG-EX, 6 Berra EX, 8 Rizzuto VG, 17 Slaughter VG, 18 Spahn VG-EX+, 36 Musial GD, 36 Schoendienst EX-MT. The remaining cards are 10% EX-MT, 25% EX, 30% VG-EX, 35% VG or lesser. Missing from the set are #'s 16, 24, 36, 43, 45.
