Lot Description  

Topps follow up to their 1952 smash hit is another gem. This set is also jam packed with star cards, key rookies and a beautiful design reminiscent of the early 1950's. Highlights include # 1 Robinson VG-EX, 27 Campanella VG-EX, 37 Mathews VG, 41 Slaughter VG, 54 Feller VG-EX, 76 Reese VG-EX, 82 Mantle VG, 86 Martin VG-EX, 104 Berra VG-EX, 114 Rizzuto VG, 147 Spahn EX, 207 Ford EX, 220 Paige VG, 244 Mays VG-EX, 263 Podres EX oc. The remaining cards grade 15% EX, 35% VG-EX, 40% VG, 10% lesser. Missing from the set are #'s103-116.
