Spectacular novelty radio stands 10” tall, approx. 8” wide, with three speakers – one on the top, one in the front, and one in the back. Great detail with a design closely resembling the symbol our National pastime. Print reads “Official League Ball”, large on the sweet spot with “Cushion Cork Center”. “No AA Selected Quality Genuine Horsehide” printed above, just below the top speaker. Equipped with a knob on left side for volume and a tuning knob on right. Metal “Trophy” manufacturer’s logo is attached across the top speaker (tarnished to a brown color). The radio may be in working condition but its original wire attached to the base has deteriorated noticeably and the outer shell has seperated sightly along the seam, VG-EX. Just looking at this piece takes you back to a time when TV wasn’t as prevalent, and the popular voice of America was heard through radio. LOA.
